C.H.I.C. and Fulcra hinges feature the Environmental Product Declarations
Full transparency and objective verification of the environmental impact of products is a key element in Tyman International’s Sustainability Roadmap. For this reason, the Group continues to invest in third-party certification according to internationally recognised standards.
After the Cradle to Cradle product certification at the silver level for Brio and Flash, the Giesse brand has added the EPD environmental declaration on two product families: C.H.I.C. concealed hinges for tilt-and-turn and Fulcra door hinges, for a total of over 250 product codes.
The EPD is an ISO Type III environmental declaration following the ISO 14025 standard, provided by the International EPD System.
